COURSE DESCRIPTION
The Biomechanical Taping Technique (BMT), a modern taping technique that uses both elastic and inelastic tapes in addressing pain lesions in the body. Integrated Neuromuscular Taping Therapy (INMTT®), a type of BMT, primarily utilizes inelastic tape (a.k.a. Fascial Tape™) targeting pain lesions within muscles, tendons, and ligaments. Prior to the application of skin tape, muscle manipulation techniques were applied on the involved body part. Vector Correcting Dysfunction (VCD®), a second type of BMT, primarily uses an elastic tape (a.k.a Skin tape™). It is used to correct the movement of the fascia overlying the forearm extensor muscles. Biomechanical Taping Technique is effective in reducing or eliminating musculoskeletal pain symptoms. The level 1 BMT Practitioner Course deals is one-day intensive course that deals focuses with the application of Integrated Neuromuscular Taping Therapy on pain lesions found at the muscles, tendons, and ligaments.
